Cold rolled steel plate

Cold rolled coil is made by rolling hot rolled coil at room temperature below the recrystallization temperature. Cold rolled coil includes plates and coils. Steel plates delivered in single sheets are called steel plates, also called box plates or flat plates; steel strips delivered in long strips in coils are called steel strips, also called coils.

Cold rolling definition

It is rolling under recrystallization, but it is generally understood as rolling using room temperature rolled materials. Aluminum cold rolling is divided into plate rolling and foil rolling. Plates with a thickness of 0.15~ or more are called plates, and foils with a thickness of 0.15~ or less are called foils. Europe and the United States mostly use 3~6 continuous rolling mills as cold rolling equipment.

Since there is no heating during the production process, there are no defects such as pitting and iron oxide scale that often occur in hot rolling, and the surface quality is good and the finish is high. In addition, the dimensional accuracy of cold-rolled products is high, and the performance and organization of the products can meet some special use requirements, such as electromagnetic properties, deep drawing properties, etc.

Specifications: thickness is 0.2-4mm, width is 600-2 000mm, and steel plate length is 1 200-6 000mm.
